Popular Cabinet Styles And Colors For 2017

August 3, 2017

Colors

This year we are seeing a continuing trend of gray and white painted cabinets. If it's not from one of those color families, then it's likely another cabinet of the painted cabinet variety. Stained cabinets are beautiful still, but not as popular as painted. There are a couple new styles we are offering that are gaining some popularity; namely a couple of gray washed/gray stained styles by Fabuwood (see photo)

Door Styles

Shaker style doors are very much the style for cabinet doors right now or some variation thereof. A classic raised panel door is the next choice for those who want a little more pop from their cabinet doors. A lot of our customers try to get a transitional door style where the style is more shaker, but has some added elements to give it a little character. Similar to the one pictured below.

Features

Corner cabinets have always presented issues with storage. While the traditional blind corner cabinet (this a cabinet that goes behind another cabinet to turn a corner) has been used for years, there is a lot of wasted space that you cannot get to. The next standby is the corner lazy susan. Corner susans are a good way to utilize a corner, but there are even better options now available to homeowners. In fact, corner organizers seem to be getting better and better with more creativity to make the most of a corner cabinet. Check out the slideshow below to see some of these corner accessories.
